Our signs are made up of several components. Using the side view diagram to the right, here is a basic description of a sign's construction:
- The backplate is the part of the sign that attaches to the wall using either standoffs with drywall anchors or double-sided tape.
- Signs without inserts include a frontplate that holds the tactile lettering and Braille and the background color.
- Signs with inserts include a laminate that is attached to the frontplate. The tactile lettering and Braille are positioned on the top laminate. Both the top and bottom laminates are fabricated with your choice of colors.
